Akash Jain is a photojournalist based out of New Delhi, India. His works have been published around the world with numerous domestic and international media organizations namely WHO, Reuters, AlJazeera, The wire.in, etc.

His photo story on Exodus of Rohingya Muslims was published by WHO in the book Invisible : The Rohingyas, the crisis, the people, and their health. He is an ardent believer of visual learning and practices photography from storytelling and documentary perspective.

Apart from his artistic involvement, he is inclined towards applying technology around imagery to solve business problems in the photography industry and has taken up a few consultancy assignments to explore the same. He lent his expertise to a computer vision firm to develop AI products for various image operations to help speed up post-production.

He is also interested in investigating the correlation between various facets of information and the role of media in its propagation and mediums. How media uses visual learning to drive narratives, how it influences daily human life, how information flow changes the value of information and modification of information using new internet tools.
